Do you guys think they have tolls?? That would be a great way to make more money!
Assuming that you are referring to toll booths, I know that they have them in SimCity 4... So I'm hoping to see them in the new one, too. I agree they're a great source of income... As long as your sims actually use the road and don't skip it because of the booth.
Yea that's what I ment lol XD. But yea like putting them on a bridge that would use to go to another city that would be great.. Is my first time playing simcity so I'm hoping I would like it!
oh you definitely will, the game is highly addictive. I just hope you can make money from the airports and stadiums like real life. having an airport in SimCity 4 is great, but it can suck the income from your city before it does any real good. In real life, you pay for the costs of these things and it will eventually not only help the city grow, but it will help line the cities pockets. in SimCity 4 it was just cost, you never made a profit, and sometimes it was a waste of money all together.
Are there tolls? That would be an interesting addition and a very realistic one.how to get that scholarship
actally that would be cool
Yeah, hope so :D
Wheres the #2 video?
ok i'll wait but at--$45.. is good ya I have plaid them ALL this one LOOKs GOOD as can be. RAIL yes Trains good one. OK
This is the worst! A mac version is not even in the pre-order option anymore :( At least tell us if you plan to release it for mac or not..
I'm sure it's still for the mac, there's so many licenses for the mac that it will take a little longer, but it may play better than the PC due to Apples quality control.
I really hope you're right ;) I love this game so much!
I noticed the mac listing disappearing too. Most of the other news outlets still listed it along with the PC being released on the 5th, but sans any info here, that seems suspect.
i just saw recently that it will be released for mac in the next month but thats just a rumor. i hope that that rumor is true to because I'm sad that its not available yet.
Because the new Mac OS X Mountain Lion does not support PowerPC Applications anymore I do not think that SimCity will be released as a hard copy (on disc). You will probably have to purchase it through the Mac App Store and download it from there as an App. Every application these days can be found in the App Store. But I also hope that Maxis will release a hard copy that we can buy in stores FOR MAC as well, though all the new Mac computers doesn't have disc drives anymore... Maxis did announced that is WILL BE RELEASED FOR MAC but wasn't specific on how it is going to be released. Hoping for the best!
I hope a pre-order bonus is access to beta or alpha:)
How can I get into the BETA I have sent about a million request and have not even gotten an email telling me anything.
graphics look great, hope the game play is also great. Am not waiting for a civilization, settlers or port royal experience. All the latest versions had an awfull gameplay experience
Played it on the C64 so hope it will give me the same experience again(with better graphics offcourse but that might not be a problem these days :-) )
I have to wonder about the cheat codes that SimCity used to offer. I was never a mayor to use cheat codes, but I know lots of folks that do.
I think we should have the freedom to choose what year we found our cities and in late 1800 or early 1900, so we could follow the development of our city, of the coffee barons and cattle, ace colonial houses, and immigration inhabitants ace our cities, of carts and horses to luxury cars of the 1930s and the emergence of new companies like steel in the 1950s, and the evolution of houses like palaces from 1890 until the present day modern mansions, and streets such as clay, stone and asphalt, not to mention the development of trade in the cities over the years, and customs of families in the development of technologies to meet the needs of the people, but it would be more real, and I believe that many people agree with what do I say, do not want to contradict any opinion, only say what do think.
excuse the grammar errors, I had to use the google translator because I live in BRAZIL
Thats genius, but if they made a simcity like that, they would have to make it either an add-on or a new game. They would perhaps call it "Simcity: timeline" or "Simcity: evolution". But as for having that feature in Simcity 5, the chances are slim. The sheer programming involved would make it such a feature that Maxis would be advertising it to get people to preorder. In other words, we would already know about it.
It would be nice if they could put bridges in the city for cars and/or trains. Being from Chicago, this will be nice to have in my Sim City. It will remind me of my hometown.
Will you be able to make a curved bridge/tunnels? Such as Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel?
Does bridges...dear lord I hope you can choose from a variety cause does ones are so stale and dull.
I need this gameeeee
wow that's cool
When will the gameplay stratagy video #3 come out?
Did anyone else notice the lorax Easter egg?
