Sorry, where is the innovation in the curving roads? SimCity 4 has it already... come on!

I want see roundabouts and good intersections between them, simple roads, underpassage/tunnels and motorways all together. This would be a great innovation.

Here is a link to the SimCity 5 Reddit AMA, the link is uncensored and unedited by the SimCity marketing department.
It is very important to note that without being constantly online you will not be able to play the game. The worst kind of DRM.
You would think EA would have learn't from Blizzard's experience with Diablo 3, apparently not though.
Don't support aggressive DRM. Don't buy this game.

I have to disagree, I already pre-ordered along with 3 of my friends and it seems my guild from another game 4 of them are getting it. Gaming in the future, you have the right to vote with your wallet, but alas it won't stop people as myself whom enjoy a good idea. I am here for entertainment, not a movement. Keep your post at reddit.

I was confused with another game about curvy roads, sorry.
Anyway welcome curvy roads, even if, it is the very basic for a game like this nowadays, I hope you will implement something exceptional like roundabouts, intersections, etc.. things that others didn't make yet.

Also roads expandable without plan again the space built would be unique.

You could already build roundabouts in SimCity 4. All you had to do was make a ring of one-way road, and then connect other roads to it. Granted it's not the prettiest of approaches but it worked pretty well.

Curvy roads make me think....rural landscape, 18th-Century clapboard, and....covered bridges! Gotta have an option for covered bridges (if there isn't one already). Welcome to Essex County, Vermont - Simstyle!!

i noticed the houses don't have parking spaces like they should. normally, if one can afford a house like that a bit far from workplace, they can afford a car. where does the car go? not everyone can afford an all-terrain vehicle.

They are still in the development stage. It's possible that they haven't worked that piece out yet. I've noticed gaps between some of the larger buildings on other photographs. I wonder if they will include the ability to have mods appear like in previous versions.

Maxis has indicated that the game will support modding, but will not do so at launch like previous versions.

I think the great feature is that you will be in a region with cities from differents players and you need to interact with them. I think this is what simcity 4 lacked and it is going to be great. So stop complaining about the curvy roads.... and wait to play. It could be the best simulator game ever!
