We built this city. We built this city to... make an airport

Jun 05, 2012

Wow. Our first E3 is done. Today we spent our time meeting press, retailers and industry VIPs and showing them our game. We focused on the benefits of multiplayer in a connected world of Sim Cities. Featuring three very different cities each with their own specialty – tourism, industry and a newly formed city – our demo showed cooperative multiplayer gameplay where all the cities worked together to build a great work - an international airport.

For all you future mayors not familiar with LA, see our home for this week – the L.A. Convention Center.

E3 2012

A beautiful place to hunker down and show the game, wouldn’t you say? We had a lot of great moments throughout the day starting with Kip’s live interview with Spike TV. Kip is hard at work prepping.

Kip Katsarelis

In just five hours, Bret, Kip, Jason, Kyle, David, Karen and Jon took part in nearly 20 demos to fully packed rooms. Even the mayor of LA stopped by to see the game and meet Lucy Bradshaw.

Yes, you can still run a whole region by yourself, but you will still have to be online. Your city will be affected by prices in the player driven world economy.
